I had a conversation recently about gay marriage with a friend recently, and while we both obviously agree that it needs to happen in a big way (no big surprise there), we both were unsure if our opinion is the preferred stance by majority of Americans. I said I would look at recent research and now I’m sharing it with all of you. I was surprised by some of the numbers, and I’m happy to see that this is just a matter of time – why wait around though? Lets make it happen.

So what did I learn? I first need to stop bashing on the masses of religious folks – at least not at the clip as I do. The religion may be an easy target because so many of them have black-and-white views of homosexuality (you’re still gonna get it), but it seems like majority of the patrons are a bit more conflicted – or just a bit more open-minded. Noted for future writings.

Everything else was what I expected, and I have to say the male populace is really letting me down. I wonder what the reason for this is – perhaps those readers who are little more well-versed on the subject can chime in and I can update this post.

Just wanted to share these stats with everyone.
