Documentaries about movies are good, but documentaries about movies that never happened are great. As Jodorowsky’s Dune rolls along and gains more personalities, bigger budgets, and crazier ideas, you come to understand how it all fell apart. But at the same time, you start to work yourself up into a frenzy because you really want to see Alejandro Jodorowsky’s vision. Built for fans of cinema, Jodorowsky’s Dune is an excellent piece of filmmaking and is surprisingly rewatchable, thanks to the always-on and animated Jodorowsky.
